getting dressed

Today, for church, the girls picked out their own outfits. Interestingly enough, their outfits matched their personalities perfectly.

Amelia picked her favorite dress and capri leggings. The outfit is tie-dyed bright pink, purple and green with stripes of the same color on the leggings along with her purple crocs. To top it off, two ponytails sticking out the top of her head. Wild and unpredictable, yet cute and sweet at the same time.

Joey picked a simple black tunic/dress and her black patent leather shoes. Because her legs were itchy, at the last minute she ran in to put on black and white striped capri leggings. Her hair, wavy from a day and night of french braids, pulled back in a simple pink clip. Sweet, simple, smart, and adorable.

I took a moment on my way out the door to look at this visual representation of their personalities at this time. If I were more like my friend Jenna, I would have thought to get out the camera and take a picture. For now, my words will have to do. I'm sure the time will come again, and I will have my camera ready.
